dave 0 Posted June 14, 2007 I never expected Bily Graham to die while his wife was still alive-she needed him too much. Now shes gone though,I think he will go quite quickly. He only really lived for her.

honez 79 Posted June 15, 2007 She was a typical wife then; he was ready to go ages ago but she made them both late. Well, now she's gone there's no excuse Bill. Don't keep us waiting any longer -- there's a wake to be havin' and you're not invited.

Octopus of Odstock 2,195 Posted June 24, 2007 Ruth Graham's funeral I think the one effort he made there to stand may be the last big effort he'll make. Everything he has said since points to the fact he is just waiting quite happily to die & rejoin Ruth. But I could be wrong...
GracieJc8 3 Posted August 11, 2007 Charles Gibson of ABC News anchored a very interesting special about Billy Graham last night on 20/20. The special detailed his relationships with all of the Presidents. At the end some very recent footage of Mr. Graham was shown of him at his library in North Carolina. He was very thinn and frail and his voice was almost a whisper. He was talking about how he would like to visit the White House again and pray with another President. But he was highly doubting it because of his failing health.

dave 0 Posted August 18, 2007 Billy Graham rushed to hospital but they say its 'non life threatening' for now.Its the same thing that nearly killed Fidel Castro he has...and reports from a usually rerliable source tonight say that Castro-is dead
dave 0 Posted August 24, 2007 not looking good for Billy Graham -he has suffered at least 2 more intestinal bleeds since last weekend and doctors dont know whats causing the problem-looks l to me like the good lord is calling him to join him in heaven ... GracieJc8 3 Posted August 24, 2007 Judging by those two articles, I would say that Graham's time is almost up. I mean this man has suffered from Parkinson's Disease for more than a decade, he has broken two hips, and he has cancer. Not to mention that he recently lost his wife of more than 60 years. I suspect from this point on that the doctors and family probably are just going to try and make him comfortable since there most likely isn't much if anything else that can be done to help him recover. If Graham does go this year, it would be a good idea to take note of George Beverly Shea's condition at the funeral or even just put him on the list for next year

Lady Die 63 Posted August 24, 2007 "Physicians first diagnosed Graham with symptoms of Parkinson's disease in 1994. In 2000, they inserted a shunt to drain fluid from his brain. He also has prostate cancer and age-related macular degeneration" I wonder how is he actually staying alive.

The Philosopher 2 Posted September 3, 2007 Billy Graham is a man of untouchable faith and compassion after preaching the gospel for decades. The health of this religious speaker is weary enough for us people too discuss the probability of his demise. From my knowledge the odds are uncertain of a married couple both passing in the same calender year. Overall my conclusion on this matter is: Statistics are ironic. Peace, The Philosopher
maryportfuncity 10,646 Posted September 3, 2007 Quite a few married couples pass in the same year, especially if they've been married a long time. Jim Callaghan and his missus gave us such an example last year. I'm banking on Betty Ford delivering the goods soonish as well.

Canadian Paul 97 Posted September 24, 2007 thats impossible Dieing? I'll say no. Delivering the goods? Back Down! It's not Halloween until mid October! Halloween is mid October, since when? Since stores wanted to capitalize on a pagan holiday and started selling decorations, candy and other Halloween-themed items weeks ahead. Same reason that Christmas begins in November these days. Same reason that Christmas begins in November these days. I'm one of those people that don't mind Holidays, but really I don't even want to hear about Christmas until like December 1st. All these 50% off sales. For me it completely ruins the spirit of holidays to walk into a store and see wreaths hanging in October. Now to me 'that's jingle bells' It's aggravating. I have to agree, the supermarkets are already selling "festive" things and that really bugs me, but time off work for any excuse for a piss up religious holiday is fine by me. I don't get a Halloween holiday though which is quite disappointing.
