msc 18,476 Posted December 24, 2013 Quit when you're ahead, they say. So I've got a few years left here... I Can't Believe it's No Pan Breed* *(because Pan Breed is DDP only, naturally...) 1. Heinz Kessler (I didn't even know he was still kicking...) 2. Gene Saks (directed stuff) 3. Lawrence Ferlinghetti (getting a very un-Beat like age) 4. Owen Chadwick 5. Renee Asherson 6. maryportfuncity 10,647 Posted December 30, 2013 Reet gang, as of this post you have 18 minutes until entries close. Every team posted here or via PM is in the masterfile up to and including Whitehouse's mob. I have other pressing duties by way of the nightly ritual of pleasuring Mrs MPFC to the gibbering edge of insanity and falling into a deep and righteous sleep thereafter. But, once these duties are discharged I'll wake up, put the jumbled file into a masterlist, and hold fire to protect the trade secrets until 1 Jan. You'll see clear evidence I didn't cheat and nick other pooler's picks when it becomes clear that my team - submitted at the same time as my DDP line up - omits Michael Schumacher (upon whom there's been something of a late Deathlist run). Usual Deathlist deal. If the entry is dated today (30 Dec) - either by posting on this thread or via PM - it counts. Any later, and there are other dead pools and/or 2015 Deathrace. Go well. maryportfuncity 10,647 Posted December 31, 2013 Reet, masterlist compiled, a couple of queries remain Ali - is Attenborough your joker? Damon - who is coming off the sub's bench to replace Kalashnikov? (alternatively I'll allocate you Brian May) Other than that the 16 teams now listed above the empty scoreboard are ready for 2014 action and we should have a new champion since no previous holder of the title has entered this year. All we need now is rapid and high-scoring death to get those BIG BIG early points on the board and avoid a repeat of the one disaster of previous years when nobody hit the winning points total. Game on once I haul myself from sleeping off the New Year celebrations.

I can't even remember who I had picked for the DDP, I was going to enter the same team. They've locked down any access to webmail here at my work and my notebook is at home on the kitchen counter where I had a hard copy.
maryportfuncity 10,647 Posted January 1, 2014 Reet, masterlist posted. Please check I haven't made any mistakes allocating picks (I've got the original PMs and the teams posted on this forum are still available for inspection). Damon is still fielding 19, so if Brian May dies I'll allocate points. Otherwise, I'd appreciate a sub. GAME ON!!!
