Deathray 2,944 Posted August 20, 2017 Just now, Toast said: Cheers. I wasn't blaming anyone, just pointing out something that needed fixing. Don't worry I know you weren't. Sorry I jumped on you unnecessarily. I just think sometimes people are quick to forget how shit this game was being run merely a year or so ago when criticising YW. You're getting three scoreboards a month, at one point (with me in charge) you were getting three a year. It's not an easy game to run, and he's doing a good job.
YoungWillz 21,592 Posted August 21, 2017 Just back in from a Summerslam evening with the lads. Thanks to everyone for your kind comments. I'm trying to keep an air of excitement by moving away from naming successful teams so that when the leaderboard arrives, it's a pleasant read. Will be updated on Saturday early hours and who knows what this week will bring? It's either feast or famine, but everyone is still in with a chance with potential hits. This is the beautiful game that Deathray created, I am but its humble servant...

YoungWillz 21,592 Posted August 21, 2017 If folks are taking it that seriously, Joey.... I will reveal that the lead could change among the top 5 players with just one hit. If that hit is a Wildcard, that extends to the top 8 players. For my part, I'm holding out for Christmastime Carnage...

YoungWillz 21,592 Posted August 28, 2017 A couple of teams were hoping darkness would fall for Mireille later in the year, but c'est la vie. At least she left it until after the Week End.

The surprise being that she lasted to August, rather than dying soon in the year, of course.

YoungWillz 21,592 Posted September 9, 2017 Not much of a change to the above with only one hit in the last fortnight. But...as David Essex once sang - The nights are colder now....
Joey Russ 7,330 Posted September 9, 2017 And I'm still barely hanging on by a thread. I know it's not going to be a matter of if, but when I'm going to lose my lead. Certainly an achievement for hanging on for this long though. Watch Leah Bracknell die tomorrow and have multiple people hopping over my score now...
YoungWillz 21,592 Posted September 9, 2017 I'll need another birthday present like Arnold Palmer last year to haul me out of the play off zone... Or maybe another ten would be nice, I don't mind...

Joey Russ 7,330 Posted September 13, 2017 Yep, I'm out of the lead now. I know this because one team (won't name who for surprise) got two hits back to back, and they were already pretty high anyways. Ah well, I'm surprised I lasted as long as I did in the lead...
