Davey Jones' Locker 1,324 Posted August 18, 2011 Gerard Depardieu (b. 1948) never been an advocate of healthy living... He seems to like his drink... regards, Hein I shouldn't have read that at breakfast time this morning... Meanwhile, Japanese pop star Akiko Futaba has died at 96. She should have been fried in '45 as she was living in Hiroshima but her train was passing through a tunnel at the very moment the atomic bomb hit. Huge kudos to her guardian angel for that one! VSBfromH 74 Posted August 18, 2011 Gerard Depardieu (b. 1948) never been an advocate of healthy living... He seems to like his drink... regards, Hein It would appear urinating on aircraft (but not in the toilet) is becoming quite commonplace.

Magere Hein 1,400 Posted August 19, 2011 Gerard Depardieu (b. 1948) never been an advocate of healthy living...He seems to like his drink...To be fair, he probably would struggle to fit in most airplane lavatories BBC News has a slightly different reading1 of the incident: In a statement issued on Mr Depardieu's behalf to French media, Mr Baer said he had passed him the bottle in which to urinate, but it had overflowed. "Gerard was upset at this and offered to clean up the mess," he said. "He has prostate problems and it was very worrying and humiliating for him. "He was also stone-cold sober at the time. This is not the way he usually behaves." From which we learn that he's usually drunk, confirming my first statenment. 1I apoligise for linking to an article with such a horrible pun in its headline. regards, Hein
JR976evil 905 Posted September 27, 2011 How about Albert Uderzo - the Asterix illustrator? Nearly 80 and, erm, well that's old.Yes please, make him stop. His cartoons are getting worse and worse.Good news for Hein; he's retiring. Good news indeed. Let's hope what that article calls 'a younger artist' includes somebody who knows how to write a script. From the same news I learned that our hero Gerard Depardieu is to play Obelix again in a new Asterix film, this time playing in Britain. I suppose the scenes with warm beer and Gallic wine will work quite well. regards, Hein Wonder if he'll be flying over ?

Rotten Ali 600 Posted September 7, 2014 I still think Gerard Depardieu looks too well to just drop dead any time soon. Invested a lot in him already on the news of the liver transplant. Rejection is always a trigger and that's a factor between 5 and 10 years post operation. If he needs a new one then the cost won't trouble him and then he is set for another final ten years. Really I would still sooner go long and wait for more early stage news about a more major decline in his health. Anyway he is still holding his own... Sean 6,309 Posted September 13, 2014 http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/gerard-depardieu-drink-14-bottles-4242142 Depardieu claims to have killed two lions and is said to be able to drink up to 14 bottles of wine a day - which is clearly bullshit but judging by the state of him in the recent picture he certainly looks like a heavy drinker.I`d be amazed if he saw 70! maryportfuncity 10,638 Posted October 11, 2014 I think he deserves his own thread. He's also been talking of late about working as a rent boy when he was very young. Given the ear-catching nature of quite a few recent claims, does anyone posting here know whether this is all plausible or if his ability to retain the plot of his life is also slipping. Dr. Zorders 1,271 Posted October 12, 2014 Walking to some degree, so I think he is not in as dire state as envisioned earlier. Yeah. However he is in bad enough shape that we maybe should start calling him Gerard Depart-due. And that pic of him being wheeled around like that in the airport. It doesn't say much for someone's will to live if they regard their own body as uncomfortably heavy luggage which prompts them to call for the porter!
