Ceciliain (Like it) is back and still ranting - all the Henley Tories have defected to the Brexit party (didn't know that still existed) and Nigel Farage is the true heir to Margaret Thatcher.

Ahh, all becomes clear. Just doing exactly as  he did here, leaving forever for about 14 hours.

Continuing to repeat his nonsense about being forced out, when everybody knows if his voters were still around he could have won a by-election (which is precisely why he resigned and claimed a stitch-up instead). But even the punishment, draconian as it sounds, would have barely registered. It is June 15th. 90 days hence is September 13th. Parliament is in recess from July 20th until September 4th, which cuts out half the sentence, and he's never in Parliament anyway, he's going round the world making millions for spouting drivel. What difference would his suspension make?

Penny Mordaunt has publicly said she will vote in favour of the findings of the Commons Privileges Committee report on Boris Johnson

Why do I feel this has more to do with her own leadership ambitions rather than her internal moral compass? (Basically showing she has more backbone and integrity than Rishi Sunak)

Listening to Bill Cash waffling on in the debate on the Privileges Committee report.

He's managed to detach his lips from Boris Johnson's cock long enough to speak.

He's standing down at the next election. Good. Get to fuck.

Christ, the sycophants of BJ have forced a division on the Privileges Committee report.

Well, at least we get a roll of shame for those who vote against it.

Incorrect. Apparently it was the Labour Chief Whip who forced the division. Make sure they're recorded abstaining or voting against. Lots of Tories voted in favour though. 354-7.

Then he's a twat.

Looks like Rees-Mogg abstained. Against - Walking corpse and soon to be ex MP Bill Cash no surprise as was Nick Fletcher, who lauded Mr Johnson's "achievements" and criticised the "bias" in the report.

We don't need a roll of shame really. Their Portillo moment is a-coming.

Except 6 of the Cabinet voted in favour of the report, rather begging the question why the Prime Minister is not supporting the important work of Parliament, a question he'll doubtless be asked tomorrow, the answer most probably involving halving inflation and stopping the small boats. But protocol matters. I'm glad there was a division, I'm glad there was a clear majority regardless of abstentions and I'm glad we know the names of the 118 Tories who at least had the balls to do the right thing.

She carried a sword competently.

She's a shoo-in for PM...

You know what might bring down this crippling inflation in the UK? The free movement of labour and goods. But don’t say it too loudly.

Did I just hear Sunak at PMQs say the help given to mortgage holders includes the ability of said mortgage holders to extend the period of their mortgages?

So, longer in debt and at higher interest rates?

This guy worked for Goldman Sachs.

Big fuck you to the working people of the country.

Sunak once again “delivering” apparently. Let’s look at his five pledges:

1) Halve inflation this year: Hahahaha. The utterly grim news this morning was that it’s still searingly high, at 8.7%. No shot this will be at 5% by the end of the year.

2) Grow the economy: Actually, fair play, it has grown this year. By, er, 0.1%. Hope Sunak and Hunt enjoy a celebratory lap of honour.

3) Falling national debt: Last month, national debt was the second-highest ever. Total national debt has just flown past 100% of our GDP and is expected to keep soaring past 120%.

4) Cut NHS waiting list: This is failing miserably. It’s at a record 7.42m, and waiting times outliving patients is the new normal.

5) Stop the boats: The most infantile-sounding and rhetoric-driven pledge is failing too; to the gammon and pineapple party’s never-ending rage, the amount of small boats turning up on our shores (as a result of all safe and legal routes to this country being closed off) has gone through 10,000 this year.

Anyone voting Tory at the next GE?

Brendan Daft-Prick MP on Twitter

Dame (ugh) Andrea Jenkyns MP on Twitter

Dame (ugh) Pritler Patel MP on GBeebies

Sir (ugh) Jacob Rees-Mogg MP on GBeebies and BBC Radio 4

Lord Cruddas and Lord Greenhalgh in an email campaign

Nadine Dorries MP on Twitter (multiple times), TalkTV and in the Daily Heil.

These eight names are not an exhaustive list, just “the most disturbing examples” of interference and attacks on, let’s be clear, the Conservative-majority Privileges Committee.

Bet Sunak says fuck all.
