charon 4,943 Posted January 22, 2019 I 'think' this qualifies. Gigi Wu aged 36. Was known as the bikini hiker, freezes to death in a gorge as the weather was too bad for a rescue. She was known for scaling 100+ peaks, then taking photos of herself in a bikini at the top. * I have no idea as to whether she died with her boots on so to speak, but if she did then definitely qualifies. https://www.businessinsider.sg/taiwanese-bikini-climber-dies-after-falling-into-gorge/

That’s a huge gap in your post. ‘A woman in India died while taking a selfie after being pushed into a river by a man who is believed to have been attempting to take a picture as well. Footage of the accident shows Prajapati taking a selfie on the water's edge when a man, presumably looking to take a picture of his own, slips and knocks her over.’ SC

Sir Creep 7,070 Posted November 5, 2021 A 33-year-old Belgian woman plunged 100 feet to her death after posing for a selfie on the edge of a cliff during a trip with her husband. Zoe Snoeks slipped off the precipice near the village of Nadrin in the province of Luxembourg on Tuesday and landed in the Ourthe River. Joeri Janssen said his wife snapped photos on the edge of the cliff when “she told me to look out for the dogs. “I turned to the dogs and told them to wait. When I turned back to Zoe, she was no longer there. She had just vanished. It must have happened in less than five seconds,” Janssen said. “I didn’t see or hear anything. No rustling, no screams or shouts. I looked up and saw only dust,” he said. “I called her even though I knew it was hopeless.” SC
