Sharad Pawar, loooong time Indian politician, former defence and agriculture minister, hospitalised for "gallbladder problems". He's also a cancer survivor. Surgery on the 31st, so well-timed for a potential quick Cup hit.

I suspect Cherry is no longer bothered about what WJK's opinion of her is these days.

My guess is that it means nobody asks her about jumping ship to Alba until after the election...

And now he (thinks he) might have hope with a new medicine

he's fucked and will most likely die this year, but who knows.

https://puheenvuoro.uusisuomi.fi/jyrkikasvi/kaksipiippuista-hoitoa/

Says that he'll buy this new somewhat experimental medicine after easter that could make it spread slower.

It's mutating and apparently is now also in the lungs and in adipose tissue.

I've been thinking about this since yesterday... which group of three will live longer?

1. The three alive Presidents of Laos: Khamtai Siphandon (born 1924), Choummaly Sayasone (born 1936) and Bounnhang Vorachith (born 1937)

OR

2. The three alive former Presidents of Zambia: Kenneth Kaunda (born 1924), Rupiah Banda (born 1937) and Guy Scott (born 1944)

Both have one "ancient one" born in 1924, the 1937 births Vorachith and Banda both seem to be overweight and Guy Scott has parkinson's and looks very frail.

Dead in yachting accident.

EDIT: the fittest of them all was the first to die!

Despite the rescuers' best efforts, the lake is dead after former president fell into it.

An actual Tory death related by-election. First in 16 years.

I wonder if Sayasone was even badly wounded in the accident. This could balance the game between the three Zambians and the three Laotians, I was pretty sure he'd outlive all of the others.

Saw photo of him in hospital and did not look too bad. Or too good to be fair.

I think she is the first Minster from the Cameron government to go.

Tracey Crouch MP confirms it was cancer that she died from.

She had been ill with cancer for 22 months but kept on working until a few months ago when it became too much.

This one hurts. She was a really lovely woman and a politician of principal. Never afraid to rebel against her own party when she disagreed with their direction.
