Yeah, it seems to me that the medical sciences (thankfully!) made quite a bit of progress in the bowel cancer department in the past two years. That's how, in my opinion, Greg Gilbert, George Alagiah and Deborah James, could so well so far.

And John Andretti.

Except there hasn't been one positive word from the Andretti camp in 18 months.  All the aforementioned have muttered 'improvement' or 'remission' even.  Not Andretti.  At least not since C returned.

Italian writer/artist/not-really-famous-person and Russell Brand's "best friend", apparently, Martino Sclavi has died. DDP pick.

Okay, so out of 60 picks from my three DDP teams, ten have died in 10 weeks. Almost enough for the whole 60/60 rate.

Let's see if Russell Brand gives a tribute in the Guardian.

(And I will be hoping for some coverage of the "celebration Pete Felton's life" on March 10th)

And there it is, the Guardian obit:

Tony Occleshaw, a DDP pick for some due to a bagpiper entering the hospice room looks to have died last month, with no sign of a UK obit.

Hopefully the last some dumbass puts a bagpiper on their team as a ‘celeb’ not even in Scotchyland would that pass muster.

Cancer mum and DDP pick Leanne Barrett dead:

Bucket of Blood held on to her after she lasted all through 2019. Her husband is a minor football star, captain of his minor league team. Let's see if it's enough.

This year, she isn't a unique pick.

Sigh. She gets one but the likes of Hau Pei Tsun and Anton Coppola don’t...
