If Charlotte Rae ,90 year old horse jockeys and a bunch of other randos can have their own thread then the most commercially succesful pop band of the 20th Century meet the bar for one easily. plus that notorious thread about British midget wrestling... Just fuck off you c**t. Why are you being so grumpy? Did children steal your morning milk? You are taking the piss.If you want to contribute, join. You are nothing more than a fucking parasite. Continually posting as a guest makes you an irritating second account c**t. lFN maybe he isn't joining because users like you are discouraging him to. I have legitimately seen nothing wrong with this guests post except for his grandma bet and the again that was just a bad joke. ImNotHades 207 Posted April 9, 2016 The thread is staying unless the creators of Death List decide to delete it. It's made by their rules and I did not broke any rule. They are one of the best selling group on the planet and deserve a thread just like Stones, Beatles and other famous people and bands........it's the point of this whole site, famous people. If you just read my opening post you could notice that half the people who were crucial for ABBA's creations are dead and they share the same age as the big 4.

Davey Jones' Locker 1,324 Posted April 10, 2016 Okay, let's make this thread worthwhile. As noted above, on the surface Abba seem squeaky-clean and have avoided all the excesses of the rock lifestyle but dig a little deeper and we find some issues so they might not quite all live forever. She and her mother moved to Sweden for a fresh start only for Synni to die suddenly of a kidney infection. Brought the girl up in straitened circumstances by her hardworking but distant grandmother, Frida understandably developed a morose outlook on life. A withdrawn and plain girl with an amazing voice and beautiful handmade clothes, desperately in need of a father figure its almost too much even for an ABBA song. (Scarcely believable misfortune followed Frida even after the end of Abba. She married the Swiss-born Prince Heinrich Ruzzo Reuss of Plauen in 1992 to become an actual princess. Mamma bloody Mia or The WInner Takes it All? No contest imo. I'll confess that despite practically suffering from a love of music and having more stuff collected than I can ever possibly hear there are one or two legends who've yet to make a dent in my music collection; Queen and ABBA topping that pile. I'll admit that "The Day Before you Came" strikes me as a decent song and "Waterloo" is good fun glam rock, the rest, frankly, doesn't do it for me. Not that ABBA have suffered greatly because of my lack of support.
Toast 16,140 Posted April 10, 2016 I must admit I don't have a single Abba song in my collection either, although I love 'The Day Before You Came'. I thought I did have that, but having just checked, it turns out to be the Blancmange cover.
