Realized a while ago that the youngest monarchs currently ruling a country are 41. I wonder if there has ever been a time when all monarchs were above 40?

Anyways, here's a list of the current ruling monarchs of the world with links to their threads and threads related to them:

Vajiralongkorn (b. 1952) King of Thailand since 2016. Current health issues: Taken to hospital last October, said to be seriously ill with a blood-related condition this May (possibly HIV). Playboy with tons of unhealthy habits, won't live as long as his father did.

Goes to Germany again.

Vague and non-specific discussion about the health of Princess Charlene of Monaco

She is relatively young but this is The Independent so they are just reporting the statement

If you were to extrapolate on that evidence I would suggest ME or a Mental Health Incident but there is always the possibility of some form of cancer

I thought so, too, mainly because I suspect she got fertility treatment which occasionally causes cancer.

But it could also just be a cover story for her being fed up with palace life.

Plenty of other causes for young people to get cancer.

For once I don’t think she has cancer. If she did I think they wouldn’t be rumours of her wanting a divorce and them struggling to explain everything.

In a "treatment facility" due to extreme mental and physical fatigue.

Not cancer or covid according to Albert. She had a serious infection at the beginning of the year and has had a lot of surgeries since that.

She's lost a lot of weight.  Doesn't look well.

Carl XVI Gustaf cancelling visits according to this article, apparently wants to protect his wife's health.

Apparently Constantine II did not have an ischemic stroke as initially reported, but instead has severe pneumonia and is currently in ICU. Probably DL-worthy as he was the last King of Greece 1964-74.

Definitely DL worthy.

Monaco's Princess Consort Charlene hospitalised after collapsing at a lodge in South Africa. She had a "nose, throat and ear" infection in May.

Princess Charlene of Monaco still "months away" from a full recovery: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/afp/article-10339539/Princess-Charlene-months-away-recovery-Monaco-palace.html

Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah looks frailish in new photos.

According to this article Constantine II is now out of ICU and going to be discharged soon.

In addition to pneumonia he also had pulmonary edema.

Constantine II now hospitalised with COVID, but in good condition as he is fully vaccinated.

If he is in good condition, why is he in hospital?
