A bit interesting that DDT has a fair number of 'standards' on his team (Steffanson, McCain, Moss, Bracknell) but left Jowell off.  Not that so far there is any damage from advancing, just found it interesting.

As the teams come out for the second half, we see one team have already used up all their substitutions, as Sir Creep's Month-To-Month Tenants need as much speed on the pitch as they can muster if they hope to get one past the defensive-minded Dead Cow team.   Down a point, as well as a 68-year old vs 104-year old tie-break, it's all or nothing these final two weeks.

I just realized that each round starting in round two one of last year semifinalists get knocked out. Death Impends got out in round two while heef out in round 3. Now, one of deadsox and DDT will be eliminated since they face each other. If the trend continues to the final, maybe I should already be predicting either Dead Cow or Sir Creep as the winner...

As former Indiana American football coach Bill Mallory is scratched off my shortlist due to death, another more fringy but interesting name makes their way on, whom I shall make an inquiry about regarding their eligibility.

 

I have to say, this has been a rather disappointing round thus far as I was expecting something of a bloodbath on both mine and Sir Creep's sides, but with 5 days left I'm just relieved to still be holding a lead at this point.

 

Edit: OK, so the aforementioned fringe pick does not pass the fame criteria, so I replaced them with Alan Bean,..

Funny, same happened with Benson I was away for 24+ hours (48 basically this time) whilst traveling and I sign on to find out I got a hit.  Dabney of all people, seemingly my worst pick.  I’ve done little research presuming Cow had this nailed shut.
