Now he looks very healty True BUT...... When he was a fat fuck, his heart had to work doubly hard to get the blood around his blubber. In effect, the heart has double the mileage it should have. It is now a question of just how many miles left it has on the clock.

His voice has completely changed (he sounds almost Oxfordshire farmer), he looks 70 and stutters a fair bit. He also has quite the thousand yard stare at times. Still necking the booze but the programme made out at the end that he's successfully reducing his consumption. A few years ago he went cold turkey and had a withdrawal seizure, which may go some way to explaining the sentence above. It's desperately sad. His very long-term partner has the pateince of a saint, can't be easy to live with. I'm guessing all the money TS made in the late 80's and early 90's disappeared up his bugle, as they live in what looks like a fairly small rented house. You'd assume he'd have had 7 figures coming in back then, he was never off the telly. It's worth a watch.
Exu 250 Posted May 24, 2020 I watched it too. He was nauseating back in the day. He was bloody everywhere and more often when you turned your telly on there he was. The horizon programme showed a very humble side to the man and full respect to him for opening up so much. I did think whilst watching that his alleged big Mate Stephen fry wasnt on the scene maybe as much as he should be, but perhaps that is journalistic licence. Aye, had a look at a few minutes - Slattery is in terrible shape For all the talk of recovery, there's a fair tonnage of damage that can't be undone. It had that air of doom feeling I got watching the documentary on Brian Connolly - singer with The Sweet - "Don't Leave me this Way" many years ago.
msc 18,536 Posted September 18, 2020 Is writing a tell all memoir about his drug and health problems, apparently. Future form spotting guide of sorts, then. Quote He said he decided to write the book during lockdown because 'if people from Love Island can do it [have a book out], then so can I.' I see he's set his expectations high there... soapywater 17 Posted September 19, 2020 I saw Slattery in Panto about 10 years ago! Obviously with his lifestyle it’s unsurprising to see his name cropping up here

Ulitzer95 12,845 Posted November 3, 2020 Also can't believe his QI colleague Stephen Fry, who has been the size of a house most his life, outlived him. Then again, look at Brian Blessed.

Is there a list somewhere of all the people Icke has said are reptilian humanoids? Could be a good shout for a new topic on here.
