TQR 14,395 Posted April 21, 2020 Meh, try everything once innit. Substance-wise, I’ve left it at that, no bother. I only smoke cigs/cigars when I’m twatted, which ain’t that often. I drink more days than not, but pretty much always in moderation. I definitely drink what the NHS guidelines would deem ‘too much’, but it’s not my fault beer, wine and gin are so delicious. philheybrookbay 439 Posted April 25, 2020 I have a long love hate relationship with alcohol. My best mate and flatmate sat me down this week and had a strong word in my ear as my alcohol use was climbing again. Its partly down to a shit situation with work and having my anxiety BPD roaring through this last 4 weeks. Not helped by Lack of PPE, and being caught in a couple of manager's gunfight for control during the lockdown. In simple terms, we are keyworkers with nothing to do and they dont want us sat at home. So I've been out in the general public doing very unappreciated tasks. Very stressful. So I admit it's been a bottle of wine most nights during the lockdown. But late last night I was informed I'm going back to my normal job from Tuesday which can restart safely. This removed the stress totally, I'm happy back with my team, and I can relax knowing I'll be making a difference with a purpose.
