3 pointsFor convenience's sake, if I like a post in this thread listing subtitles, take that as a sign the appropriate subtitles have returned.

2 pointsThey were there the day before too, but perhaps you were part of the USA group practising arriving really late for World War III. Around the time of practising testing WMD on civilian targets and allocating reparations. This was the most popular option amongst the US groups. The practising starting your own war against teeny weeny countries and not doing so well, had a certain 'retro' feel that appealed to some, and would provide great material for some historically accurate films. The least popular choice however was the, practising having your hands in the air, pointing up to the sky at low flying aircraft. Rehearsing indignation and surprise in front of TV cameras, that what you do in a foreign land can actually have consequences in the USA, is particularly important. Getting off topic for a moment, whilst there will be some giving thanks that JH's tour is cancelled others may not. For those here is the man himself pretending to be a war hero.

1 pointWith rumours of the BBC casting a woman as the Doctor popping up periodically, I had a brainwave: Capaldi was a long time fan of the show => eventually was allowed to play the Doctor. Queen Elizabeth is a long time fan of the show => ... She'd make two television appearances at Christmas then: once to deliver her message and the other to do the regeneration scene. They could film them both at the studio on the same day. However does the BBC survive without lateral thinkers like me?

1 pointFrench rocker Johnny Hallyday has cancer https://www.theguardian.com/music/2017/mar/08/french-rock-star-johnny-hallyday-being-treated-for-cancer

1 pointLOL, someone's been reading Wikipedia. Only you read it wrong - Jimi opened for Johnny! I cannot remember a time when I did not know of Johnny Hallyday. I don't have any of his records though.

1 pointOui, Jean Cauvin avait raison sur la «dépravation totale» de l'humanité. (I am cynical!) By the way, be sure you check out this thread if you haven't already seen it: https://forums.deathlist.net/topic/7873-foreign-personalities-from-stage-screen-politics-and-life/?page=34 It is where we discuss most French people, especially actors and actresses. New contributors are always needed!

1 pointHello @Davey Jones' Locker, The Troadec case is one of the most dreadful, revolting cases of this decade. The brother-in-law confessed he had killed and dismembered the whole family because the father is said to hide golden coins. Only for money. Mankind can be a piece of crap.

1 pointWell, that'll be the proof. It'll be announced that Kris Marshall is the new Doctor, and five minutes later: Breaking news from Buckingham Palace on the health of the Queen...

1 pointSee, all my posts on the impending "World War Three" thread are finally starting to get to you! I knew they would.

1 pointI didn't "not let him in the cup for his own bad behaviour". His own behavior was down to him and the mods. By the timing of his ban, I was left with two choices: either remove him from the Deathlist Cup, or put everyone else on hold until he got back on the SEVENTH of the next month. The choice was fairly obvious and done with no malicious intent. However, after his kind words yesterday, he is now officially banned in perpetuity from the Cup or any "games" I host in the future. He'll know the exact post which brought this about. Yeah, I know, not very rage filled, but fuck it, I'm getting too old.

1 pointWell, as she already tried to kill herself, I would not call that a 'possible suicide risk'... This 'attempt' was hopefully unsuccessful, and a full recovery will be made. It is however, 'possible' that she will try again, hence, 'possible suicide risk'. As in, she has tried once, so there is a chance she will try again in the future. Possibly...

If the DL had an FB "You like this" comment then my thumb would be raised. Can I add in that I saw a group of men walking around shooting at that group of men who were walking around wih their hands in the air. Turned out it was just a bunch of USAians practising their friendly fire routine. Iaculore iam, reputo laxus or summat!

1 pointNo, he's a cretin not a chrétien. Well, I don't actually know that but I do know he's tried to be a Belgian and is now a Swiss or something to avoid paying Monsieur les impots. Ah pelebs, when they've got so much of it they want to give so little of it away or summat.

1 pointA little snippet here says Johnny Hallyday was also treated for colon cancer earlier this year. Oops sorry, I forgot to mention I saw that magazine (well the advert outside the newsagents) a few months ago. I tend to forget people are interested in death and health scares as well as squids, Portsmouth, grammar and bricks. http://www.parismatch.com/People-Match/Mus...-cancer-131217/ There is also a Le Monde version but it is also in French and to read all you need to subscribe at a price which I guess is what we can expect for the English language press soon. He has been put into a coma. Colon, coma, perhaps next a fou-stop. And he's nearly Belgian.
