    A Beano historian writes: the Beano did quite well under the Thatcher administrations. Milk was never an issue in Bash Street which did not go all PC and soft until after the Major years. Leo Baxendale, its creator, is getting on a bit and would make an excellent addition to the Deathlist.

    Schwarzkopf was Bush's pitbull in the 90s. No war too big, dangerous, or too far for these cowboys (except North Korea - hmmm, I wonder why?) Fitting they both croak more or less at the same time. Hopefully they can drag that twat Rumsfeld with them for an imperial hat-trick

    I also think it's going to be the year of world leaders dying. Take your pick of any of these: Mandela, Thatcher, Chavez, Castro, Bush, Sharon, Whitlam, Mugabe, Gorbachev, Mubarak, Jaruzelski. I bet at least half are gone by the close of 2013.
