RoverAndOut 4,746 Posted October 5, 2023 That result is bizarre. Dare was #1 for a single week and as has already been said is not even Gorillaz best song (although it was their only #1). In all the other games, while I've not always agreed with the outcome, I've at least understood it and been satisfied with it, but this one's left me a bit 'meh', especially as it's the era of music I grew up with. Crazy was my chosen winner from quite early on (I'd have had Umbrella originally from the final 25). And I agree with @wannamaker that Viva la Vida should have been in the top few too and somehow didn't make the final. Ho hum. But just to push back on the suggestion that Crazy was a surprising choice in the final 2 (can't remember who said it), it scored 77 points in qualifying and was top qualifier from 2006-07, so had plenty of support. Dare scored 90 to top score in the previous round, so perhaps I should have seen it coming. I also recall it barely being voted down in its year, so I rarely upvoted it even though it was my favorite on the list. It just didn't need help.
