Honestly, if this bloke died in 2025 and he wasn’t on the list I doubt many ppl on here would care.

If there are hard decisions to be made, Barenboim is probably on the chopping block.

Might happen but that is part of the game.  Every year unless we get a year that we can hit the magically 25 number there will be cuts that need to happen and there is always a chance that a person that is cut dies the next year.  But I agree with @Ulitzer95 in that even if it happens there will not be that much of an outrage over it.  It isn't like he would be a Dick VanDyke type of miss. The committee this year is going to have to do a lot of cutting unfortunately, and he seems to be an easy pick to release.
