I mean, as a history teacher I'm aware it's the biggest geopolitical event of the second half of the 20th century and influenced all around it, but it's always interesting to see how it bled into popular culture, when we often think of everyday people ignoring geopolitics. Obviously things like 99 Red Balloons are very overt, but Dancing With Tears in my Eyes is all about a nuclear apocalypse as well.
