Who Should Be On The Deathlist 2025?

Recommended Posts

Going through the names suggested here:

Kinsella for some reason doesn't feel like a "traditionally famous" celebrity to me, but she is pretty fucking famous to the extent I've seen her books in supermarkets here.

Violeta Chamorro has been very close to death for a very long time but feels like someone the DL would never pick. (Manmohan Singh is another. I have more hopes with Mahathir, although that time might've passed already too)

Ditka, Mujica, Plowright, Goodyear, Sir John Williams, Hedren, Antonia Fraser, Johnnie Walker, Richard Wilson all feel like very good bets.

Disagree on Giorgio Armani and Mamie Van Doren, as far as I know they're both in great health. Bruce Willis feels like an initially "overhyped" pick that'll drag on for much longer than anyone thought, the same for Paul Biya unfortunately.

There are 2 names I won`t reveal as have been told in confidence by those close to them. But will give some hints

1) A former Cabinet minister under Margaret Thatcher who has Alzheimer`s that hasn`t been disclosed. The man in question when I saw him last year at a private event looked ok and good for his age but didnt say much (although I didnt get a chance to speak to him)

2)An actress best known for working at Granada and ITV but has worked on a few notable BBC productions as well.Has starred in soap operas and sitcoms as well as a range of TV dramas. and starred in a fair few films I was told several years ago she was in a care home with severe Alzheimer's and regularly thought she was still on set at Granada when roaming around the facility. This has never been disclosed publicly either.

Second is more of a household name than the first but both will widely obit when they go.

Madge Hindle?

Suffers from dementia and fits your criteria. See screenshot from her daughters FB page.

So if it is Hindle, who lives in Yorkshire, we're looking for an ex Thatcher cabinet minister who lives in Yorkshire.

Stop forward Michael Jopling, who lives in Thirsk. If he looks good for his age, which is 94, that's our man.

All the other living cabinet members live elsewhere or are in good health.

I certainly think Michael Eavis needs to be put on deathlist watch. When Coldplay was on, they put a camera on him looking miserable in a wheelchair.

I suppose there is no chance that Ed Sheeran and Paul McCartney could go on the list?

I’d be miserable watching Coldplay too!

I've been allowed to see the first draft of the 2025 list. Some sensible picks ruined by the wacky choice of Jimmy Carter.

This can't be accurate, a trusted source informs me that Ruth langsford mother will pass away later this year.
