Actress and dancer Galyn Gorg has died on her 56th birthday. 

Amongst other things she starred in Twin Peaks,  Robocop 2 and her best known role Leora Maxwell in American TV show M.A.N.T.I.S

Phyllis Somerville, who may be best known for her various roles in television and film including Little Children, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Surviving Family, and The Big C, has died at the age of 76.

Harry Clein, a long-time movie publicist who wrote the original press notes for Star Wars and designed the campaign for the highly successful indie film The Blair Witch Project, died June 18th. He was 82. His death is being reported today (July 24th).

Already reported in the Yank Science Fiction thread but I think he was far bigger than that.

 

John Saxon dead at 83. (or 84 according to Wikipedia)

 

A Nightmare on Elm Street series and Enter the Dragon his most memorable roles.

I must get used to the idea that William Hurt (photo from last October) will leave us soon. He was diagnosed with prostate cancer eight years ago & I suppose that he survived for so long because he looks like someone who leads a healthy life. 

 

He finished the shooting of "Black Spider" & has two other films in pre-production, but they are unlikely to materialize.

Another name from the Golden Age of Hollywood gone...

Sonia Darrin, dead at 96 according to this film noir Twitter page.

She was the last credited cast member of the iconic Bacall/Bogart film The Big Sleep (1946), which is a must watch if you haven't seen it.
