Laurel Goodwin was the last living credited cast member from the original pilot of Star Trek. Though surprisingly, its director Robert Butler (wiki) is still alive and turns 95 in October.

Sally Kellerman, who was one of the lead actors in the second pilot episode, died on Feb 24th, just a day before Goodwin!

Robert Butler died last week, aged 95.

After Peter S. Fischer died, msc and I were discussing living behind-the-scenes 70s Columbo personnel, and he brought up Butler. Butler died a day after that conversation! :o

Misery is one of my favourite films. Now only Kathy Bates (born 1948) survives from the cast.

James Caan (1940–2022)
Richard Farnsworth (1920–2000)
Frances Sternhagen (1930–2023)
Lauren Bacall (1924–2014)
Graham Jarvis (1930–2003)

Simu Liu apparently dropped out of his stint as celebrity narrator at Epcot's Candlelight Processional at Walt Disney World, due to "health scares". The same day Ann-Margret did the same, after appearing ill during her first night of performances...

Very surprised at Dick Johnson dying off-the-radar. That's the Dick Johnson of Dick Johnson Is Dead, the big Netflix documentary produced by his daughter detailing his dementia.

Was the last living acting Oscar nominee of 1955 (first year of that decade with no survivors left). Outlived her twin Pier Angeli by 52 years.
