Dodie Heath (Wiki), another American actress from Golden Age of Hollywood, mentioned here sometimes dead at 96

She played in movies and TV series such as Brigadoon, Seconds, The Twilight Zone, The Untouchables, Lawman and Alfred Hitchcock Presents.

But two of the mos memorable role for me are Terri Richards in Ask Any Girl (1959) and Miep Gies in The Diary of Anne Frank (1959)

Dodie recived a Telegraph obit, very surprised that THR has been silent for her

With the death of Jane Birkin, the list of survivors from the classic all-star Poirot films shrinks further. Those left now are:

Murder on the Orient Express (1974)

Dame Vanessa Redgrave (1937 - )

Michael York (1942 - )

Jacqueline Bisset (1944 - )

Death on the Nile (1978)

Dame Maggie Smith (1934 - )

Mia Farrow (1945 - )

Lois Chiles (1947 - )

Olivia Hussey (1951 - )

Evil Under the Sun (1982)

Dame Maggie Smith (1934 - )

Emily Hone (1966 - )

There was considerable overlap between the casts, with Birkin in both Death on the Nile and Evil Under the Sun. Funny that the most recent is the one closest to a wipeout.

Edit: forgot Emily Hone.

Emily Hone (IMDb) had a credited and quite important supporting role in this film.

According to her IMDb, she only had one other credit, and there's no date of birth.

However, she has a website which confirms she's still alive (with some recent photos too). Goes by the name Emily Peacock now and she's an artist. That was enough to find her in the birth records – born Emily Jane Hone in 1966 so 57 this year. Likely to be the last surviving credited actor of the three films you quoted.

Went with the Wikipedia articles cast lists and completely forgot about her. Perhaps that shows my aversion to child actors, but she was admittedly pretty good.

Just 4 living child actresses left from The Wizard of Oz now.

@Gisooo, IMDb says she died in November 2022, Lord Heath says January 2023. Is there anything on Accurint to confirm either way?

EDIT: Never mind. Here is her published obituary on Legacy.com. Died in November 2022.

Betty Ann Cain, Elaine Mirk, Valerie Lee Shepard (real name Lois Valerie Shepard, but could have died off radar).

Who is the 4th?

And now I noticed that, who said that Montgomery died in 2014 when she gave interview in 2016, married and living in Corona Del Mar, California as Priscilla A. Clark

You're right. Priscilla is listed on Wiki as having died in 2014, but that's not possible as here she is in 2016 and in 2019 she was still signing fan mail.

Anything in Accurint for Valerie Lee Shepard? Real name Lois Valerie Shepard. She's not been heard from since 2014(?)

EDIT: Never mind. Still signing fan mail in July 2023!

Biggest news; he's 60??!

I'm pretty sure this is like the 5th account this year to sign up to have a wank over the Space Odyssey guys (who, to my knowledge, have done absolutely nothing of note so far in 2023). Is this some sort of social experiment?

EDIT: a shocked reaction from a guy whose only contributions to this site are 3 deleted posts and a "follow" of the guy who posted cartoon panda porn after I previously quipped about these Space Odyssey fanboys. Guess that confirms that.

Did Jerry Lewis also participate in Odysea in Space?

One...might... create a thread for Kubrick akin to the "Lynch mob".

Maybe call it Eyes shut, or something.

I don't care about irritating posting I'm more bothered that this person seems to think that Jerry Lewis is still alive, unless they mean the Arizona politician born in 1956 which would mean that this is the wrong thread to mention them
