Andre Braugher, Frank Pembleton on Homicide: Life on the Street and Raymond Holt on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, dead at 61.

No source says what he died of, at least not yet. Seems like a very unexpected death as well.

All the sources I've seen have it as a "brief illness"

Exactly, it's not specific. Could be basically anything.

Also a Disney Legend. I thought of making a list of living Disney Legends a while ago, but I'll do it now for the ones who recieved the award before 2010:

1998: 16/22 dead.

Kathryn Beaumont (1938-) Awarded for Animation - Voice.

Glynis Johns (1923-) Awarded for Film.

Hayley Mills (1946-) Awarded for Film.

Kurt Russell (1951-) Awarded for Film.

Dick Van Dyke (1925-) Awarded for Film.

Matsuo Yokoyama (1927-) Awarded for Character Merchandise.

1999: 6/9 dead.

Tim Allen (1953-) Awarded for Television, Film & Animation - Voice.

Mary Costa (1930-) Awarded for Animation - Voice.

Dick Nunis (1932-) Awarded for Attractions. No wikipedia page but still active, apparently also on social media.

2000: 10/10 dead.

Ruthie Thompson (1910-2021) Has outlived all the seven living people given this award that year, all younger than her and one of the posthumous awards was for someone born six years after her. Awarded for Animation.

Lots of old, frail ones there.

Dick Nunis, Disney Legend and pivotal to the development of Walt Disney World in Orlando, has died aged 91.

That really leaves only two imagineers who would have worked in depth on Disneyland and Disney World plans and attractions with Walt - Orlando Ferrante (91) and Bob Gurr (92). The Metro newspaper gave Rolly Crump an obituary this year so I would expect Bob Gurr to also get a write up.

I never met Dick, but I've known more than a few who'd worked for (or with) him (perks of studying theme park management at university I suppose). Apparently he was still in relatively good health until recently. Probably the worst thing about Dick was that he was obsessed with giving Australia a Disneyland for years. But that's another story for another day...

Didn't expect that given the label his publicist used.

Diagnosis to death in a couple of months apparently, so it would be a relatively short period of time

Featured an incredible 96 names this year.

Sad to see Barry Humphries and Jerry Springer not making the cut but I guess you can't fit everyone in. There were too many omissions last year. I think this is a big improvement.

I've edited my post above with a full list of names included.

Norma Barzman (wiki) dead at 103. Screenwriter and one of the very few survivors of Hollywood's Blacklist.

Hollywood Reporter obit.

Didn't get the memo – don't die just after TCM Remembers comes out.

Weird or what?  I’m watching Lethal Weapon now and having a quick read through this, and there she popped up.

Just did some research on this.

I believe her death means that Lee Grant (wiki), 98, is the last survivor of the Hollywood Blacklist.

Going by motion picture stars, it’s Janis Paige, followed by Eva Marie Saint.

For television, June Lockhart and Dick Van Dyke are the oldest, following Norman Lear’s death.

Fun fact: played Majikthise in the 1981 television adaptation of the Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy. RIP.
