Considering she was diagnosed with dementia a couple years back either as a supercentenarian or in her late centenarian years, I'm damn surprised she's still alive. Immortal.

Edie Ceccarelli has now turned 116. This is the first 116th birthday in the USA since Susannah Mushatt Jones (1899-2016) in 2015.

A matching gravestone was found for Gisaburo Sonobe confirming that he died yesterday 10 February 2024. However, his death has not been released by the public. This could be a hoax. A cruel, CRUEL hoax.

I would say the web article is more gross than anything. The fact that someone would start a rumor on the death of Japan's oldest man is neither funny or creepy.

The rumour isn't funny (I couldn't care less) but your reaction certainly is.

You can hardly be playing along when your 'CRUEL hoax' comment is what spawned the sarcasm.

And how would you know this? Do you read minds? Are you an oracle? Tell me if you understand these things.
