Don't worry, I didn't mean it. Like I said a few posts back, I thought every day was a provoke-Windsor day, and it seems that I was successful. I'm not looking for another moderator assignment this soon after chucking the last one.

 

And no, please, it doesn't mean you can go back to trolling over there. They're a good bunch of people, and they're not responsible for my inability to get along with the owner.

I did go back there today and add a wolf avatar and a link to a wildlife organisation, but "gone to the dark side" does have a certain ring to it.

I think it's very admirable that they are offering their services. By all accounts it seems a pretty thankless time consuming job cleaning up after all the links to spam porn (there could well be a niche market there, pictures of spam in the nude and so forth).

 

I for one don't understand why some people are hankering over a job that will require you to endlessly tidy up and move things around. Could someone explain what the fuss is about over entering into modship, or is it just the youngsters who missed out on being milk monitor going me! me! me!

 

Good on you, though by bringing more order to the site by cleaning up the diatribe and porn would in fact defy the second law of thermodynamics would it not, thereby decreasing the power of Entropy's mod status

If there are to be any more moderators, I would nominate, in the following order:

 

1) M. Lawrenson - I recall that he is not working at the moment. "Moderating Death List" would look good on a CV

 

2) Bald Rick - Just so spelling and punctuation could be kept in check, between 9 and 5 Monday to Friday (GMT)

 

3) Gunjaman5000 - We need someone else from the southern hemisphere to keep the spammers at bay during the night shift. (GMT)

Why not think of them as deferring important things in their lives, just to devote some time to pissing you off? Surely you've got to feel good about them caring enough to want to piss you off that much?

Take some pride in it. Relish the thought that they're probably going to get told off about wasting so much time on their computer. Take solace in the fact that their relationships are probably going downhill, just because they want to goad you one more time.

What first attracted me to this forum was witty, pithy, sometimes articulate, sometimes moronic banter; not needless drivel about who said what to whom, what was said, and could someone please stop that member doing all those horrible things to me.
