Mods, any reason we can’t upload a photo directly in PMs like we can posting in threads?  At least my iPhone says it’s not an option.  Can only upload from a URL and guess what, my iPhone isn’t a URL.

Poor @Cat O'Falk won’t get to see my photo of Venus from the oil rig.  Oh wait I can post it here (heavy sarcasm)

It's a pity you departed from the rig site as there was an almost perfect transit of the ISS on Thursday of this week. It went from northwest to southeast going almost directly overhead (85 degrees) and was as bright as Venus.

Ive updated it. You still won't be able to post the word as the filter kicks in. It was brought in when we were being bombarded with spammers, so all (most) medicines were filtered.

I didn't see it but I did know about it. It was Venus and it will be very similar tomorrow morning.

They'll get so 'close' on 31st July this year that Venus will disappear behind the moon. It'll be 'visible' across much of North America but the downside is it happens in the afternoon when the sun's up.

It happens.  The search function , whilst not perfect, works reasonably well.  Maybe if you put one word in to it ( i.e. Elsewhere) it may have brought it up.
