Yogi Berra

When you see a fork in the road to heaven, take it.

I thought Yogi died years ago, but it's deja vu all over again.

Yogi Bear was not in the Flintstones as far as i know- Yogi Bear had his own cartoon show- it was an afternoon show for kids, starting I would guess in the early 60's- his name must have been a play on Yogi Berra though!

This guy's on it.

I even gave you the episode a couple of posts previously.

But in the interests of deadpoolery, I watched the damn thing.

And re other point, Berra sued over the name. And lost.

I only used to know that there existed a person named Yogi Berra, but until this year I had no idea that he was a baseball player, 90 years old, and still alive.

I must have confused him with this chap.

I think the more obvious comparison is 1954 World Cup-winning manager Sepp Herberger.

Far too young it seems for him to have caught his last game. I suppose Whitey Ford will be next........

Can anyone explain why Yogi gets tagged as dead within 24 hours and yet George Cole isn't tagged as dead as I write? I'm sure you guys have a reason, I remain baffled.
