Jumping Johnny Wilson, a high school legend in Anderson, Pennsylvania who'd later play for the Harlem Globetrotters, has died.  He was 91.

At the time of his death, Wilson was the oldest living former Globetrotter.

It was during his Globetrotters stint than Johnny added his own touch to the ’Trotters’ famous clowning routine, kicking the ball football-style into the basket with amazing accuracy.

That was a great obit and he sounds like a very interesting cat that could have played about anything, but for the color barrier.
RIP

Former Penn State and Arizona State guard Jermaine Marshall was found dead on Friday.

The 28-year-old was living in Nantes, France to play for Hermine Nantes Basket, which competes in the country’s second-tier professional league.

The team's statement originally read that he was found dead inside his apartment, but that information was later removed from its online statements regarding Marshall. No other information has been disclosed.

Ok, this is not really deathlist material, but maybe keep an eye on players from the Indiana Pacers.  Seems they are contracting their medical services to the local boy scout troupe.   This is some pretty sophisticated medical investigation here.

The Boston Celtics have retired too many numbers but John Havlicek's number 17 is well deserved.  RIP Hondo.

Former University of Hawaii basketball player Jaaron Stallworth was reported dead today, stunning members of the program who were briefly associated with the Northern California native in 2017.

The Sacramento Bee’s Joe Davidson reported on Twitter that Stallworth had “some sort of train mishap” and expressed fondness for the former two-sport star of Cosumnes Oaks High School.  Stallworth transferred from Yuba (Calif.) College to UH for the 2017-18 season. He was expected to compete for minutes at point guard, but a broken leg injury from his time at Yuba slowed his progress, and he never played an official minute before quitting the team a few games into the season.

Despite his age this is slightly shocking cause he still was coaching and looked in good health.

Well I’d say at least a dozen or so, and a coach or two.  Sloan just a real good coach.

Kareem Abdul-Jabber worthy of a thread and frankly after having a QUAD BYPASS a couple years ago should already have one
