Typhoid Harry 23 Posted September 8, 2005 Kinda curious as to the actual mix, since the clear majority here are from the UK and I'm not, and I've noticed some references to other countries; so, where's everyone from? I should go first, I suppose: I'm born and raised in California, USA (the Silicon Valley) and I've lived all over the world, but I always seem to end up back here. millwall32 114 Posted September 8, 2005 "I like to insult people, blah blah blah." Is not what I actually psoted but it was nice of some a@@ehole to fix it for me. What I actually said was that it was surprising to see that this thread had been started by someone who had two days earlier sent me an unsolicited personal message telling me to be "relative" [sic] aviod being "silly" , stick to talking about the DL itself, and that this was a "mature" forum to which I should only contribute if I was not "letting out pent up energies". I personally fail to see how "where are you from" fits into all of these categories bit I am gald that the same person who feels he is within his rights to send patronising e-mails to strangers also feels he should edit thier posts to. p.s. If you want to delete this could you at least tell me why.

Tuber Mirum 125 Posted September 8, 2005 For being such a small country there are quite a lot of Scots. We must be very morbid people... Funny that isn't it? I can think of six regulars who are from Scotland and may have forgotten a couple of others. As for your humble Nonspud, he was born in Aberdeen, studied in Glasgow then moved to Germany. Since then I've moved steadily Northwards at a rate of about 150 miles every 3 years. At this rate I should be back home again in about 20 years and shortly after that retire to a popular nursing home in North-East Seaside Skagtown.
