The Pooka 26 Posted July 27, 2007 Many Happy Returns Pooka, you cool so and so... A very late thank you maninblack. I have, alas, not been free to respond before now. Thankfully, I am now at liberty to respond. Have you been in jail? A slight misunderstanding led to a temporary removal of some life choices. All sorted now ............. Ha, I was right! Come on, spill the beans! A tall tree, Brinsworth House, binoculars ......and thou? Please don't talk of beans. My most recent landlord gave me a particularly restricted diet. Fortunately, I am now free to enjoy the life of the bon viveur. Although given your mention of the tree (above) any reference to the high life is painful to contemplate. Brinsworth House Baiter 12 Posted July 27, 2007 Due to an intensive research project in which I was central in assisting the researchers with a number of enquiries I have been unable to respond until now. The project has now been completed and I hope to be back in circulation for some time.......... Intensive research project? Come on then, pray tell- what colour smalls are Tessa Wyatt wearing these days & is her washing line the regulation height from the lawn as stipulated by her local borough council? Windsor 2,233 Posted July 29, 2007 Thank you all for your birthday greetings. As NAP mentioned, I spent the whole day at a wedding. My cousin was inconsiderate enough to have her wedding on my birthday! It was certainly a different day. The groom is Swedish and so the Scottish/Swedish traditions came into one (sort of). In Sweden, they don't dance about and get drunk. They eat and say speeches all night. Luckily the Swedish participation was restricted. At my table of seven, there were 4 Scots, 2 Americans and a Swede. It was like eating with Larry David. Unfortunatly there were no drunken family fights. As well as that, I had to be into work at 9 this morning.
