Salinger was pretty much a recluse. Do any later photographs of him exist? Generally I veer towards the death's door picture if it's available but, as Dr Hack points out, there are very few Salinger pics out there and certainly no recentish ones. I find myself hoping that somone else carks fairly soon so I don't have to look at that photo every time I log on.
