At around the same time, he started drawing fantasy cartoons. Recently, he's been working as Art Editor at CFOEurope.com

DevonDeathTrip 2,366 Posted January 16, 2007 I believe Grim Rita was referring to the cancer stricken rugby league player (who was mentioned in the ideas thread last year) No date of birth, but he turned 33 fairly recently. He is supposed to be starting a course of chemotherapy in June.

Lord Fellatio Nelson 6,226 Posted August 14, 2007 Steve Prescott to walk 200 miles. Still enduring chemotherapy, but very likely to see 2008. Oh goody, another micro celeb doing a charity walk. How f*cking original. 200 miles is hardly value for money is it. He sounds a bit of a cheapskate to me.
maryportfuncity 10,684 Posted August 15, 2007 How's about Prescott and his missus and Jane Tomlinson and her other half in Celebrity Wife Swap. I mean, if all the advertising revenue went to charity it wouldn't be bad taste, would it?

Tuber Mirum 126 Posted August 28, 2007 Aye. That's the thing about chemo. It makes you very ill, but you do tend to recover from it. And it does cure cancer. Allegedly.

ARAWN 0 Posted November 17, 2008 (edited) Has anyone heard anything about St Helens rugby player Steve Prescott's condition recently. He had some rare stomach cancer and now seems to be running a marathon every month. Is he cured? Edited November 17, 2008 by Lady Grendel Post moved
DevonDeathTrip 2,366 Posted July 19, 2009 Steve Prescott, who was given six months to live in 2006, is going to take part in a triathalon next month. The prognosis was changed to "up to five years" after a major operation removed 80 per cent of the cancer, with Steve still undergoing regular sessions of chemotherapy..."I know I have a terminal disease and will never get cured, but life is for living now. My condition is stable at the moment and I am taking it one day and one scan at a time."

DevonDeathTrip 2,366 Posted March 5, 2012 The seemingly indestructable Steve Prescott has announced plans to: "Run the Paris marathon, cycle from Paris to the English Channel, cross the Channel in a kayak, cycle to the capital – and then finish with the Virgin London Marathon."
