Darren Lewis was born in Dallas, Texas and died at age 55. Nicknamed "Tank", he was a professional American football player who played running back for three seasons for the Chicago Bears of the National Football League (NFL) in the early 1990s. He played college football for the Texas A&M Aggies

fourth round draft pick Khyree Jackson has died in a car accident, he was 24. he played for the Oregon ducks and was drafted to the Minnesota Vikings as the 108th overall pick, but never got to play.

Peter Martin, a linebacker for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League between 1965 and 1972, has died. He was 83. Martin played in the 1971 Grey Cup, a game the Argonauts lost in the dying minutes to the Calgary Stampeders.

Tom Donchez, who spent one year as a running back in the NFL with the Chicago Bears, has died. He was 72. After being drafted by the Buffalo Bills following a college career at Penn State, he caught on with the Bears for the 1975 season.
