Thatcher 2,124 Posted July 15, 2017 Babe Parilli, quarterback for the Green Bay Packers (1952-1953, 1957-1958) and the Cleveland Browns (1956) in the NFL, the Ottawa Rough Riders (1954-1955, 1959) in the CFL, and the Oakland Raiders (1960), Boston Patriots (1961-1967) and the New York Jets (1968-1969) in the AFL, has died aged 87. Sir Creep 7,013 Posted August 15, 2017 Former Auburn head coach, Pat Dye confirmed that former Alabama head coach, Gene Stallings is in the hospital, after suffering a minor stroke. Dye says Stallings was at the Dallas-Ft. Worth Airport awaiting a flight to Huntsville when the medical emergency occurred. He played in the Super Bowl of 1970, and is one of the last few original Vikings from the 1961 roster - the year they made their debut. Additionally, Jim Hargrove, NFL player for the Minnesota Vikings (1967-1970) and the St. Louis Cardinals (1971-1972), has died aged 72. He also featured in the Super Bowl of 1970. The man who guided Drew Brees as a Boilermaker and was the school's winningest football coach, died Saturday at age 74. He died at home of natural causes in Buffalo, Wyo.
