Tuber Mirum 125 Posted October 1, 2007 I know a member of Patrick Jenkin's family, and have met him occasionally although not in the last 5 years or so. Last time I asked (admittedly about a year ago) he was still pretty active doing this and that. JOhn Nott was on tv at the time of the Falklands 25th anniversdary in the sppring and looked in good nick.My bet is on Francis Pym to go soon as hes been 'on leave' from tje HOuse of Lords for a while now which probably means hes suffering from alzheimers or dementia or something.Incidentally 2 other former members of Thatchers cabinet have died this year-Paul Channon and Lord Cockfield,though they werent in h er original cabinet of course. I know there are all sorts of reasons for crashing cars (he may have had a tipple, but then we would know about that) so I'm plumping for early Senile Dementia. Carrington himself seems to live a VERY quiet life & now the love of his life has died.... well, I wouldn't be surprised if he is not alive come June 2010 as a result. Carrington himself seems to live a VERY quiet life & now the love of his life has died.... well, I wouldn't be surprised if he is not alive come June 2010 as a result. Also sad to report the death of actor Dennis Chinnery, who played the part of the scientist Gharman in Genesis of the Daleks. http://www.doctorwho...-1926-2012.html Sad time all round for Dr Who fans Have you noticed that every member of Maggies cabinet who have died have died younger than she is by several years.Only 2 have lived longer than she has (so far), Lord Carrington and Lord Hailsham.
