He notably led Porto to its first European Cup in 1987 and Paris Saint Germain to its second French Champion title in 1994. A great loss for FC Porto and PSG fans (like me). With Vulpeanu on the field, FC Argeș faced Ferencvaros in the Târguri Cities Cup, in a "double" played in the 1967-1968 season. He received the player of the year award from Wolverhampton Wanderers FC in 1981 and 1982, this award began in 1977 and he was the first player to die of those who received this award. Le Fevre contributed to two national championships during the club's 70s imperial phase. The first of quite a few danish imports.
