Health update of

HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaja

Camp : Rela hospital, Chennai, 31.10.2023.

Time : 10:00 PM

Hare Krsna,

Dear disciples and well wishers of H.H. Jayapataka Swami Maharaja

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

All glories to Guru Maharaja, Srila Guru Maharaj has travelled to Chennai today to visit his transplant doctors in Rela hospital for detailed evaluation of his kindey, skin, lung and liver.

Gurumaharaj needed to take a course of Intravenous antibiotics at the residence in Bengaluru for an infection in the lung. A CT scan shows some compression of his wind pipe. And doctors feel that this is the reason for the change in voice and had advised to avoid travelling.

Gurumaharaj also has developed various skin lesions, and his Blood sugar is still not controlled despite various measures for the same. His kidney function also shows no improvement.

Guru Maharaja wants to recover soon to resume his normal routine. He has many times mentioned that prayers of devotees is helping him to recover faster. We humbly request everyone to continue intense prayers for Gurumaharaj

This is his fifth or sixth hospitalisation in 2023, the last seven years he's had on average only one or two a year. It might not be serious this time but he's clearly now in the "circling the drain" phase.

He doesn't know why he's in hospital he says, meanung his doctors are more worried about him than he his himself. Not a good sign, I guess.

Zubeen Garg apparently hospitalised in ICU/MICU again following a fall, stable. Very prone to falls for someone who is 50 years old, seems like this is the third or fourth time this has happened.

Soviet film and stage actress Raisa Maksimova, 94, reportedly hospitalised and suffers from a severe bone marrow condition that has required monthly blood transfusions(?)

Some rumors going around that the Nikolay Drozdov is hospitalised for weakness due to cancer treatments.

Well...suggestions:

Yury Solomin who I mentioned last week in Foreign Personalities is critical again, might be a good addition as he apparently just won't die.

93-year-old Greek national football team player Kostas Nestoridis hospitalised following fall, and has been very ill for years.

Tep Vong, Cambodia's greatest religious leader, apparently hospitalised (again).

Health update of

HH Jayapataka Swami Maharaja

Camp : Hiranandani, Chennai

18th August 2023

Dear disciples and well wishers of

H.H. Jayapataka Swami Maharaja

Please accept our humble obeisances.

All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

All glories to Guru Maharaja!

Guru Maharaja had low hemoglobin so he needed to go to Rela hospital for getting iron transfusion. He successfully completed one session of Iron transfusion in Rela hospital on 16/8/23 without any complications. It was a day care procedure and Guru Maharaja was discharged as soon as the transfusion was over. He would require a few more such doses in the subsequent weeks, and we are hopeful that this would increase his hemoglobin level and Guru Maharaja's complaint of fatigue.

Guru Maharaja's platelet level has increased because of the new medications and the doctors are happy about this.

Guru Maharaja was visited by one of the Transplant Nephrologists, Dr Chandrashekhar. He evaluated Guru Maharaja at home and suggested some more tests.

The blood tests related to the kidney is slowly improving but is still not yet back to normal.

Guru Maharaja's Xray of the chest showed some water collection in the lungs, because of which his oxygen level had come down a bit and he has shortness of breath. The doctors have started medicines for removing this water collection.

We humbly request everyone to pray for the speedy recovery of Guru Maharaja's health back to normal.

Thanking you all,

On behalf of the

JPS Health Team and Seva Committee

Mahavaraha das

I wonder if they can renew his kidneys and liver again. Last time it somehow worked.

And in addition to Faustao, another Brazilian tv presenter, Carlos Alberto de Nóbrega, hospitalised...with covid. Previous health history includes a hospitalisation in 2021 and semi-intensive care with respiratory infection in 2022.

Carlos Alberto de Nóbrega hospitalised after fall, but does not look serious.

Kong Nay was discharged already five days ago but the "returning to his hometown to spend the last days of his life there" part makes it, well, sound like he doesn't have much left. :pop:

He also looks like a corpse in that picture.

Kong Nay (Cambodia's very own Ray Charles) has again been "very ill" for around a month now with diabetes complications and a "lung disease"
