Thank God it looks like it's just the same idiot who edited Wikipedia last week. So bloody annoying when that happens !

So he's regenerated, then. Awesome.

I'll bore you some other time with the story of how I nearly flattened him myself - his fault, walked out of a newsagents with his nose in the paper totally ignoring fast moving joggers on the pavement.

British mathematician Harold Neville Vazeille Temperley at 102. Can't find anything else on the web yet, not even the Twitterwaves.

I did a forum search and apparently no one got back to you on this one? Anyhow, he got a Times obit in May. It's paywalled but you can see from the preview it's the right person.

Not strictly speaking living believed dead but Mick Softley was in such a state a few years ago and Wikipedia notes this, along with the presence of a Facebook page to ensure his continued hold on life is communicated to anyone who might be interested. Relevant in as much as he sold records to Guardian reading types and probably is a shoo-in for an obit there - even if it's the more informal kind they run - as and when

Wiki page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mick_Softley#Later_years

In case you can't be bothered to read the whole thing:

In 2011 Softley suffered a head injury after falling from his bicycle and spent a considerable time in hospital recovering. In an effort to counter the unfounded rumours of his passing a Facebook page was set up and it now has a following of over 800 friends from all around the world. In August 2011 an evening of entertainment featuring Softley's music and poetry was held in Cafe Merlot in Enniskillen with all proceeds being donated to the brain injury unit at Altnagelvin Hospital.

Well, here's a death notice: http://www.funeraltimes.com/michael-micksoftley394097232

American record producer George Avakian dead at 98, apparently:

Also, British Anglican theologian Harry Blamires at 101:

Can't find anything for either

Avakian is dead. NY Times obit.  Was still talking to journalists last month so rapid decline or went in his sleep, I guess.

PS Damn I was looking at an interview earlier that said he was doing well from October 2017, but I can't find it now, and it's been swamped from google by news of his death.

So depending on stuff we can't know this side of death Blamires might be entering a very productive period of checking out the accuracy of his Anglican theology, or summat

Avakian was covered on the BBC Radio Four Six o Clock News - significant if only because it's a real insight into some of the people who must make editorial decisions there and - therefore - a hint of where q/o points might be gained.

There are a few horror blogs like this one reporting it, with quotes from his friends.
