Yer looking for an Elizabeth A Chambers (born 1933 in Loughbrough, Bracknell) - closest on there is from 2014.

It was too good to be true.

@Ulitzer95 , do you think one of those two could be our Elizabeth Chambers

If she were married I doubt she'd appear on official government sites under her maiden name.

I've searched for Riddington and got nothing.

I had that idea but again, nowt under Riddin... drol got there first.

She were married to Ken Riddington, producer of House of Cards and Tenko. They have a son, Tim.

RE: Chambers... Who knows. Way way too sketchy. Going to have to play the long game with this one.

This could be a paid obit for Lawrence Allen.  No mention of racewalking, but date of death & age are right.  However, the obit could be also be for an Allen Lawrence, depending on which way you read it.

Thanks. Updated. Still waiting on Dorothy Morrison and Jeanne Mockford, both of which may never come. I'm having doubts that Jeremiah Stamler is dead. Would have expected to have seen something by now.

Here's a new one: Academic Frank L. Lambert died 28th December. Seen a Twitter mention but no obit still...

This could be the closest to an actual obituary that Jeanne Mockford will get.

And in case you were wondering (as I was), it's the Catholic Association of Performing Arts

Quote

The Catholic Association of Performing Arts (CaAPA) (formerly the Catholic Stage Guild) works for, and alongside, people of all faiths and none. The Association performs a dual role, serving the needs of its members and, through them, the wider community.

CaAPA’s members are, typically, theatre professionals or non-professionals with some interest in the performing arts. Members apply their talents and skills to helping the wider community, for example putting on theatre productions to help people in their spiritual journeys and to raise funds for good causes.

Someone claimed William Frankland has died on Wiki, removing him from the list of living centenarians. Obviously he's been reinstated and there is not any confirmation right now. Could be a total hoax.

Can anyone on DL still view Equity magazine? I feel that would help address verification issues on individuals like Jeanne Mockford but it looks like they've restricted online access of the magazine, even with old issues. :bombguy:

Conway Berners-Lee, computer scientist and father of Tim dead at 97.

Inclined to believe this one is accurate as the editor who added the death date was the same one who added Mary Berners-Lee's death when the press hadn't yet covered it.

Trans porn star Kelly Pierce seems to confirm it on Twitter:

If this is all correct, you'd assume a Sun obit would be around within 12 hours or so.
