In actual fact he was probably too good for most of the movies he was in, but working right up until the end. With Ron Moody passing as well, the UK has lost two awesome talents. He was always worth watching even when he was better than the material required one thing I liked him in was the BBC adaptation of Ivanhoe where he played the leader of the Knights Templer. That, and the fact the BBC don't have it yet (and even Sky delayed announcing it) is a bit suspicious. I don't mean its a hoax, its not, but in the breaking of the news. Looking on ebay just a few minutes ago, there are signed copies up for sale prices range between $40-$400 Sad that when a celebrity dies suddenly these things go up for sale.
