I don't care for Bob Dylan's music but i'm leaving this here. It is going to be interesting about the end result of this. Maybe she got dates wrong but why wait 50+ years?

Aye, so she mistook Paul Simon for Dylan, then!

Bob Dylan has sold the master recordings to his entire back catalogue to Sony Music, in the industry's latest blockbuster music acquisition.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-60118887

Note this is different than the sale of his song rights (publishing) to Universal Music, previously reported here too.

Also worth noting his concert schedule:

"Before the pandemic, he regularly played 80 to 100 concerts every year. In 2021, he managed 22 shows and he has a further 27 on the diary for the first half of 2022."

Just a thought, but might the lack of shows in the last year or so be down to the global pandemic (venues being closed, keep people safe, etc) rather than due to his own health?

Bob Johnston, producer of Blonde on Blonde and Highway 61 Revisited among several other Dylan and 60s classics, dead at 83.

I was slightly surprised to see that another Bob-related Bob, former hellraiser Mr Neuwirth, is still around.

Bob Neuwirth pronounced dead: https://www.rollingstone.com/music/music-news/bob-neuwirth-folk-singer-songwriter-bob-dylan-associate-dead-obit-1355697/

This article is from 2018

I never pictured Dylan as a guy who would hang with the ‘born again’ crowd.  Who knew?

And?

It’s just interesting news that made a newspapers front page today.

If Trump bans death, Bob Dylan would die immediately.

I do like the way Dylan used the word "pavement" in Subterranean Homesick Blues.

Because "sidewalk" doesn't rhyme with "Government" - obviously. It's so un-American in an American icon.

I saw Dylan live last November, his voice is on life support these days but the guy himself looks fairly decent for 83. Would be surprised if he went within the next few years. He and Willie Nelson seem like the type to die in concert though.
