Yeh, I get that bit. I'm not sure but you seem to be implying that Marco Simoncelli was 'a parasite', and that's the bit I'm not quite getting?

Richard Harris, singer of “MacArthur Park”, one of my all-time-favorite songs, died 11 years ago aged 72. In 1968 this great song reached No. 4 in the UK, No.2 in the US and No.1 in Australia!

Oh, by the way, he was also an actor, producer, writer and director.

Beside his 20 Top 30 hits his No.1 singles were: Cumberland Gap (April 1957, 4 weeks), Gamblin’ Man (June 1957, 2 weeks) and My old man’s a dustman (March 1960, 4 weeks).

It is a pity he did not live longer because surely he would have been the first person to go to for the theme tune to the latest James Bond film. He could have formed a "Skyfall" band.

One half of The Righteous Brothers died 10 years ago on November 5, 2003: Bobby Hatfield.

An overdose of cocaine had precipitated a fatal heart attack. He was 63 years old.
