30 years ago, Masako Natsume joined the 27 Club. Best known as Tripitaka from the series Monkey.

It was only years later that I found out that the character (whom I had a big crush on when I was 4) was a MALE character!

 

I was never confused... :wub:

 

 

I had a massive crush on Masako, I thought she was totally adorable.

Today in 1977 South African anti-apartheid activist Steve Biko died in Pretoria prison, from injuries sustained while beaten in the Walmer Police Station in Port Elizabeth, aged 30.

Today in 1977 South African anti-apartheid activist Steve Biko died in Pretoria prison, from injuries sustained while beaten in the Walmer Police Station in Port Elizabeth, aged 30.

Today in 1944 former Dutch Prime Minister Hendrik Colijn died, aged 75.

He's probably the most widely despised Dutch PM of the 20th century (De Geer being the other contender), both for his fiscal policy and his 1940 essay “On the Border of Two Worlds”, which essentially proposed collaboration with the Nazis.
