Took over the court work of a judge who got shot dead in 1980. In 1984, he was in his house when it was bombed - he survived with minor injuries. Rebuilt his garden, including a pool. SirC The only issue with that is that some obscurities e.g Polish Athletes from the 1972 Olympics are never going to receive an obituary in the English speaking press. If there is a thread for Olympians, surely you'd rather know about their death, no? In any case, I think out of 40 or so deaths I've posted 3 or 4 have been in foreign language. In addition to that, you shouldn't presume everybody else's language skills are limited purely to English - mine aren't for starters.
