Bernie Ecclestone looks like a shrunken Andy Warhol

As I often say after an extra heavy night on the sauce "I feel like Andy Warhol looks"

Kurt Caselli, an off-road motorcycle racer was killed the other day at the Baja 1000 - I thought it was already on here but I can't find it.

Initial reports on the Motorcycle News website said that the track had been sabotaged by spectators, although this has now been changed to him hitting an animal. According to MCN, sabotage is not uncommon at this race, as the spectators like to make the racing more exciting :banghead:

Accidentally clicked "follow" on Jim Bamber's daughter's Twitter page yesterday while looking for information about his condition.

Worthy of DDP note, but obituary chances are so-so.... Bev Bond, ex F3 driver and successful club racer, has cancer, whilst Frank Sytner, ex touring car champ and owner of a huge range of garages in the East Midlands - although now better, has had many a heart scare/attack in the past.

Well, Sytner seems to be ticking over okay, but Bond has finally lost his fight against cancer today, after being admitted to Poole Hospital last month. I still doubt he will get the obit, not that it matters now.

Being reported on Twitter and Italian media that former MotoGP and World Superbike rider Doriano Romboni has been killed at a tribute event to Marco Simoncelli. If Google Translate can be trusted it sounds like he crashed and was hit by another rider, which is how Marco himself was killed.

Ouch.....! Painfully ironic. Maybe they won't bother holding any kind of "tribute race" to Senna next year for the 20th anniversary, after that.

Inside Tip for those who want to take a gamble - I don't know exactly what's wrong with him but.....

Brian Hart, former racing driver and engine builder extraordinare, is very, very poorly and increasingly frail these days. Hart is 77.

And here it is. And Telegraph too. Now to see if it's a unique hit

Erm.... I'm gonna go ahead and say it will be. Even I didn't know who he was and I can name loads of obscure people from F1 in the 70s, 80s etc. At first when I saw the name I thought it was that journeyman driver bloke with the rather ungainly-looking nose, but it turns out that was Brian Redman.

Depends how many people took notice of and then acted upon my hot tip last month. I didnt act upon my own tip (Dont ask) so it looks like 10 points to you. Murray Walker was preparing something for Brian on the BBC website anyhow.

Rotten Ali has picked him in a couple of the forum competitions so might have picked him in the DDP

Cheers for the tip. Had a feeling he would be obit-worthy as anything Senna-related will likely get something

Oh. Right. In that case it probably won't be!

I'm still racking my brains why I dropped him. I think it was due to age reasons, possible obit concerns but mainly that although he was ill, I didn't know quite what was wrong with him - one photo I saw of him in his last public appearance in May 2013 seemed to be dementia related, and that was correct. Not sure it was as advanced as it wad/i]

If I lose the title by 7 (or 10 points), then in retrospect I should've kept the tip to meself, but all's fair in love and the DDP.
