Had they used the electric chair instead of lethal injection, there would have been the chance for the headline 'Texas Toast"

Oi! Leave me out of this.

Correction: you meant the Texas 7 has become the Texas 4.

"Newbury, 52, becomes the ..... third of the notorious “Texas 7” gang to be executed for the slaying of 29-year-old Irving officer Aubrey Hawkins."

SC

Not quite SC, one topped himself afore capture, 3 state murders, and you have the Texas 3.

Garcia , Halprin and Murphy.

That's a fair cop. Regardless it's not the Texas Six, though the pun intended was understood.

SC

Here's an interesting claim to fame:

Britain's oldest paedophile (as far as we know) becomes Britain's oldest prisoner:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3033494/Britain-s-oldest-paedophile-country-s-senior-prisoner-jailed-age-96-sexually-assaulting-girls-early-1950s.html

He was sentenced to 18 months. His age was a concern, too, since a younger man would have received seven to nine years.

"Babes in the Woods" murderer and paedophile Ronald Jebson dead at 76:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-3055851/Antonia-Kidman-s-ex-husband-Angus-Hawley-dies-46-suspected-heart-attack.html

He wanted his death to remain a secret to spare the families any more pain. The article does not state his death as a fact, by the way, only as a claim.

Here's a report from the Independent . Not sure if that's the link you meant to post.

The Sun (wrongly) claimed an exclusive on this and said they were printing the story to deny him his last wish, even ringing the mother of one victim to get a comment.

So, do the families feel better if his death is reported, or not?

I see Hinckley is possibly getting a release decision this week, even though he is almost free all the time any roads.

Very low profile.

I wouldn't feel worse knowing it. I might feel better, or I might feel unchanged in a "his-death-doesn't-change-anything-about-what-happened" way.

Also, yes, thanks, Toast.

Very low profile.

The parole board types have massively failed to consider the potential consequences when he finds out Jodie was a lesbian all along.

Maybe he'll think he can turn her around by killing President Obama...

The accused murderer of South African Strip Club boss Lolly Jackson, George Louca, has succumbed to lung cancer:

http://www.enca.com/south-africa/murder-accused-george-louca-has-died-lung-cancer

I'm angry, I wanted to pick him for the Deathrace next year, news of his terminal disease went through the South African press. Louca tried to get released for treatment but it was denied.

Charles Manson? This is the only report I've found, so probably false, but we'll see...

http://unitedmediapublishing.com/breaking-charles-manson-found-dead-in-his-prison-cell/

Has his own thread. Thought this would have hit much more widely if true, even if speculation.

I think, looking at several 'news' items on that site, we can safely disregard this as a hoax. (Cue BBC Breaking News.....)

All the news articles on their main page seem to be there to designed to incite people to beat their chest and wave the 'Muric'n flag while yelling "Git 'orf ma lawn"

One time 'youngest person on death row' in the U.S., Paula Cooper, saves the taxpayers some money by committing suicide. Good riddance.

"She was released from prison two years ago, after serving nearly 30 years" so not sure how she's saved the taxpayers money.

You got me--victim of my own presumptions :-(

How a person on death row has anything less than life without parole I do not know. Learn something new every day.

Well, as she was a child when she committed the deed, should she have even been on there ? Eh, naw.
