No. They didn't do one. http://en.wikipedia....he_Royle_Family Looks like it was just because the script wasn't finished in time for filming. No mention on Hughes' health though

the_engineer 1,415 Posted July 28, 2012 I remember him from the royale family and keeping up appearances very sad to hear he has died. His face is more recognisable than his name in the acting world i don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. R.I.P

JR976evil 906 Posted July 28, 2012 A huge blow to the UK soap-opera industry!! Hardly, he was written out of Corrie almost 30 years ago, it's managed without him amazingly enough
The Unknown Man 586 Posted July 28, 2012 I could've sworn that he was on the list this year, but apperently not. But anyway, that'll be my 6th DDP hit this year.
Vinegar Tits 606 Posted July 28, 2012 Another person I've met/worked with gone. Very nice bloke, very funny, had time for everyone. RIP
Octopus of Odstock 2,203 Posted July 28, 2012 Lovely man, met him a couple of times. He was one of those quite rare creatures - great at acting and comedy acting - I think his comedy roles have belied a little how good he was as an actor (or maybe enhanced it, depending on your point of view?) Slightly disappointed to take him off my DDP, but I was led to believe he was getting better and out and about in the Isle of Wight. RIP
Rotten Ali 600 Posted July 28, 2012 Shame this nasty illness has taken another fine person. RIP Onslow.

Bibliogryphon 9,588 Posted August 6, 2012 He was also one of the few actors (who did not have a lead role in the series) whose likeness adorned an adaptation of a Doctor Who Book - His role as Mr Popplewick in the Trial of a Timelord (13/14)
