Richard Hatch, best known as Captain Apollo in Battlestar Galactica, reported dead at 71. https://www.bleedingcool.com/2017/02/07/do-not-post/

However, it is under a Do Not Post url, so I'm wondering if it's a mistake that it has got out onto the internet....

They'll be playing Apollo game on their Lorne Greene in heaven now...

It seems to me that many celebrities recently have been dying of Pancreatic Cancer. It seems to have increase in frequency lately. Even on Wikipedia´s deathlists it seems like there is a victim of this disease every day almost.

Surely they are more likely to sign a petition to arrest an admin...

Here are a few survivors from some of the (marginally) higher-quality SF films of the 1950s:

Charles Evans (Earth versus the Flying Saucers) - born 1900

Kirk Douglas (20 000 Leagues Under the Sea [and Saturn 3]) - born 1916

Alan Young (Time Machine) - born 1919

Peter Hansen (When Worlds Collide)- born 1921

Russell Johnson (It Came from Outer Space and This Island Earth) - born 1924

James Best (Forbidden Planet [and also played Sheriff Rosco Coltrane in Dukes of Hazzard]) - born 1926

Richard Anderson (Forbidden Planet, [and the Six Million Dollar Man and the Bionic Woman]) - born 1926

Barbara Rush (When Worlds Collide and It Came from Outer Space) - born 1927

Rex Reason (This Island Earth) - born 1928

Earl Holliman (Forbidden Planet) - born 1928

Ann Robinson (War of the Worlds) - born 1929

Rod Taylor (Time Machine) - born 1930

James Drury (Forbidden Planet) - born 1934

Billy Gray (The Day the Earth Stood Still) - born 1938

Yvette Mimieux (Time Machine [and The Black Hole]) - born 1942

Everyone involved in the original version of the Invasion of the Body Snatchers appears to have been body-snatched by now.

It would be interesting to know if that Charles Evans bloke really is still alive. Neither Wikipedia nor IMDB have any mention of him dying. He last acted in a film as late as 1991.

As reported elsewhere, Peter Hansen has died aged 95. http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/latimes/obituary.aspx?pid=185045243

Looks like Charles Evans' Wiki page was eventually updated too with some death info. He went in 1996.

Rex Reason, of This Island Earth, reportedly dead at age 86. http://monsterkidclassichorrorforum.yuku.com/topic/61227/Rex-ReasonRIP?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter#.VlCJn-QnzNM

Also known as Adam MacLean in Man Without A Gun, his brother Rhodes Reason died in December last year, as I reported in the Toho Stars thread.

Edit: Went through the DJL list, Wiki now has Charles Evans dead in 1996.

Also now in the Hollywood Reporter about Lorna Gray dying. Not a qualifying obituary but more confirmation.

Some survivors from 1960s American Sci-Fi television

Two from "The Invaders": series star Roy Thinnes (David Vincent), b. 1936, and episode narrator William Woodson, b. 1917.

William Woodson is now being reported as having died back in February. Wiki has him dead and a contributor over at Voy seems to confirm this, although at this point I haven't looked for an obit.

Also narrated The Winds Of War and was the voice of J Jonah Jamieson in the 1980s cartoon series of Spider-Man.

DDP pick.

I don't think we can rebuild him. We don't have the technology. We can't make him better than he was. Better, stronger, faster...

He's one of my picks. Surprised that he didn't get an obit here in Minnesota since he did the radio commercials for the Minnesota Twins
