Daan Schwagermann seems dead too. Only left from that list of around 70 names:

1. Agnes Keleti (103): Looked decrepit on her birthday, but overall great for her age. Could drop dead tomorrow or live another 3 years.

2. Dan Tolkowsky (103): Doing good, youngest of the survivors.

3. Henry Hu (104): OVERDUE already when I made the list and has looked horrible since atleast 2017. No appearances in years, barely survived pneumonia around two years ago and has been in 24/7 care at home since (or even before that)

4. Li Dak-sum (104): Last appearance in 2019 and he looked mummified back then.

5. Ilmari Koppinen (106): Moved to a care home earlier but still exercising every day.

6. Marita Camacho Quiros (113): Has definitely outlived my expectations.

7. Lloyd Geering (106): Definitely most prominent name out of the living. Still doing quite well.

8. Ena Collymore-Woodstock (107): Very frail the last 2 years.

Last survivor? Probably either Keleti, Tolkowsky or Geering.

Here's Li Dak-sum in September. Surely deteriorated a lot since 2019. The fact that he was widowed last year does not help.

I wonder if the committee might consider her for the  DL 2025 ?5 Olympic Gold medals and 10 Olympic medals overall.

Let me compile the yearly list of most wanted/overdue centenarians:

1)Marita Camacho Quiros: 114 next year, dementia for years, near human limits.

2)Fletcher/Baker/Renfrow Smith: overdue as supercentenarians

3)James Clayton Flowers: can't find pics of his 109th birthday anywhere, looked horrible at his 108th birthday.

4)Song Ping: major name and 108 next year. In good health according to Chinese media, that probably means on intermittent life support somewhere.

5)Ena Collymore-Woodstock: 108 next year, has been decaying for years. How is she still alive?

6)Yang You: he won't die, but he is notable, and fucking 108. And has been in hospital for 5+ years at least.

7)Sir Lloyd Geering: he has been trolling me for years. 107 in months, not seen anywhere for a long time.

8)Paul Mwazha: not the age he claims but completely demented and long overdue.

9)John Hemingway: 106 next year, care home and wheelchair bound for years. Has trolled me for a long time like Sir Geering.

10)Sister Jean: 106 next year, wheelchair bound and a pool pick for ages.

11)Henry Hu: 105 in February, has spent the last two years on 24/7 care due to complications from pneumonia.

12)Charles Burrell: covered in a blanket and totally dying back in 2023. Unexplicably still going.

13)Li Dak-sum: wheelchair bound for years, extremely frail in September. Another one who just won't go.

14)Zou Yu: 105 in October, survived severe pumonary disease in 2017 and occasionally seen on oxygen. But he won't just go.

15)Franca Pilla: was taking her last breath according to journalists when she was a mere 101. Fucking overdue.

16)Agnes Keleti: currently in ICU, frail for a decade.

17)Betsy Jochum: wheelchair bound and frail for too many year to still be alive.

18)Zeynep Korkmaz: uberfrail and on oxygen for years.

19)Edgar Morin: frequent hospitalizations and 104 next year.

20)Betty Reid Soskin: 104 next years, massive stroke survivor, wheelchair bound for years.

21)Lim Tze Peng: frail and wheelchair bound for years, but another one who won't just go.

22)Wu Liangyong: 103 next years. Obese, survived massive stroke at 90. Guess what, he won't go.

23)William Leuchtenburg: 103 next year, rumoured dementia, frail.

24)Yang Chen-ning: now a top level Immortal.

25)Gaositwe Chiepe: another ridicolosuly sick centenarian.

26)Boris Kravtsov: Soviet relic who is unexplicably still going.

27)Virgina Halas-McCaskey: so hated online, is she even still actually alive?

28)Phan Wannamethee: 102 in a month, incontinency blanket for years. How the fuck still alive?

29)David H. Murdock: The megalomaniac who wants to live to 125. But where the fuck he is?

30)René Gracida: wheelchair bound for years.

31)Rudolph Marcus: the big, old overdue name of chemistry. What a relic.

32)Du Daozheng: Fucking Immortal.

33)Robert Kuok: not seen in years. Come on.

34)VS Achuthanandan: top notch Immortal. A joke that he is somehow still alive.

35)Guillermo Rodrguez Lara: wheelchair bound for years, widowed last year.

36)Richard Rohmer: was on his last legs on his 100th birthday. How did he recover?

37)Juan Ponce Enrile: Super Immortal who just won't go.

38)Kaiti Grey: massive stroke and thousands of illnesses survivor.

39)Lin Jiamei: China first lady, already critically frail in 2015.

I'm not sure it was ever confirmed but she was pictured several years back with a doll which is used as therapy for dementia patients.

Much smaller name but there's another Zimbabwean cult leader called Aaron Munodawafa (of Mugodhi Apostolic Faith Church) who's allegedly over 108 years old, was declared incapacitated in 2019 and outlived his successor last month.

Went through the 181 pages of living names born in 1924 on English Wiki, and found three deaths.

Qi Zhengjun (wiki), Chinese Liberation Army lieutenant general – died 30 November, aged 100.
Roshan Lal Anand (wiki), Indian sports administration – died 17 December, aged 100.
George L. Bartlett (wiki), American Marine Corps brigadier general – died 19 December, aged 100.

I've updated all their pages with obituaries. I suspect none are DDP picks as there has been no prior mention of any of them on here before.

A few new centenarians...

Russian philologist Aza Takho-Godi reached 100 at the end of last month as did Léon Gautier, last living of the 177 Frenchmen to have taken part in the Normandy landings during WWII.

Michael Loewe, British Sinologist, reached 100 three days ago.

Sir Sydney Kentridge, South African-British lawyer, anti-apartheid activist and judge known for being the defence lawyer of Nelson Mandela, Desmond Tutu and Albert Luthuli, is 100 today. Discussed here before.

María Isabel Rodríguez, one of the first four women elected to the Legislative Assembly of El Salvador in 1956 and the Minister of Health and Social Welfare 2009-2014, is 100 today.

British historian and sinologist Michael Loewe (Wikidead at 102
