it seems the oldest person in the world is 171-year-old James Olofintuyi from Nigeria if you go with unverified birth certificates. I prefer to go with the verified ones.

Unlikely to QO anywhere but quite an interesting character, being as La Sonora Poncena were formed in 1954 and Lucca was still technically a member at the time of his death (although I can't imagine he was up on stage shaking a tambourine much towards the end). Surely a contender for top 10 longest careers in one band.
